Prefer the more laid-back classic style or the more athletic challenges of skating technique? The choice is yours! And the cross-country ski trail runs right past our hotel!

Awaiting you are 200 km of exceptionally maintained trails through magical countryside, as are a cross-country stadium and even a night trail. In the Nordic X-Park, you can test your skills through moguls, banked turns and even small jumps - it's all suitable for beginners, with lots of fun guaranteed!

If ever you are in the mood to head for higher elevations, we would definitely recommend the Panorama Trail on Dachstein Glacier at 2700 m above sea level.

Biathlon is our newest trend: Ski a few laps, then put your marksmanship to the test using a laser- or air rifle.

Three Ramsau cross-country schools offer introductory and rookie XC instruction along with technique training, Nordic Cruising tours and even professional coaching for professionals.

PS: Here in Ramsau, the elite of the cross-country world put in their training. And the Nordic World Cup tour also makes frequent visits to us as well!

Flat, broad and sunny winter hiking paths lead you out through the magical winter countryside at the base of the Dachstein. Along cleared pathways, you will be able to make your way all the way up to local mountain huts where you can enjoy a well-earned rest and refreshments. If you prefer not to return on foot, simply ride the next bus back to our hotel ;)

Make your own tracks across the virgin snow and feel that sense of boundless freedom! Along the way, check out the beautiful snow and observe how native animals go about their daily lives. Here, unique nature experiences are absolutely guaranteed.
